This is my daughter Kate's walk home from work, and she knows what appeals to my eyes for painting, so she sent me this view.  It was wonderful fun playing with all of the lights twinkling everywhere, and creating the ribbon of river that glows in the night.  The original was a quick sketchbook study in colored markers and I have tried to re-create the original spontaneity in this 24x18 oil painting.
