I am a self-taught artist working primarily in drawing and painting.  My practice has developed through workshops, shared studio space, and life drawing classes where looking closely is both discipline and discovery.  I am nourished by time spent in galleries and museums, by travel, and by long hours with art books and magazines.  Alongside these, the steady stream of images and conversations found on Instagram and elsewhere continues to shape how I see and translate what I see to a surface.
