Segalman workshop weekend

I spent the past three days in a fabulous watercolor workshop learning from Richard Segalman. It was intense but enriching. I tell my non-artist friends who say "that'll be nice when you finish it" that it's sort of like practicing handwriting...you aren't writing a book or letter, or in these sketches attempting to create a masterpiece. But they are fun to reflect on afterwards.

This piece is terrific! Actually, I love watercolors because they convey experiences as impressions, not as photographs. Their charm is that they lack detail, and in that respect, they leave more to the individual experiencing the event, like dreams. Sounds as if you're having a wonderful Spring, T!

This is fabulous, happy you enjoyed it!
