Mariachis in San Miguel de Allende

These guys were all lined up, ready to serenade, but nobody was at the window yet.  The evening sunlight was bouncing around in their big hats and off of their bright suits.  They were squeezed together on the narrow walkway on the lovely cobblestone streets.  I started this painting more abstract, and tried to maintain that and not clean up too much of the boldness.
