I'm finally finishing up some pieces that were nearly complete but for one reason or another I wasn't happy with yet.  That always feels good because it feels like the ok to start something new.  I still wait for more abstract to come out, but my daily sketches are about the most abstract impressionistic work I do.  Now if I could only transfer some of that into my paintings...

I think the next music painting study will be a Bass player.  Maybe abstract figurative this time?  Maybe?
