Positano, almost completed, 18x24

I just restarted the daily painting section of my website, so be sure to check out the small works that I have done.

Foggy morning in Immokalee, but interesting drive 30 miles east of Naples. Most of the balloons were tethered, and bouncing up and down hoping for lift-off. In the meantime, crowds gathered around all the food trucks.

Sometimes, my most satisfying work is impulsive and immediate, like this little sketch that I made from Kate's photo and colored with my paint markers. I don't have many colors, so I have to make do with what's there. The end result of all the mixing and smearing together of the colors is so fun and teaches me to use my imagination.
