Many beautiful poses by Katie this past weekend while she visited.  Lovely Naples morning....Thanks sweetie!

Starting up again now that Library show is hung.  Have to get some new inventory going, and complete many that are waiting for finishing touches.  Good incentive to finish!  Lots of framing and painting in the next two weeks.

This painting started out featuring a man, but was much more striking with a woman in it.  I am trying to make my sunsets more intense and full of light as they often are here in Naples.  Have one planned that will just be the light, no figure, and more abstract.

The next painting is one I did from a sketch I had done of a artist friend who goes every day to Starbucks and does crossword puzzles.  He was so intent this particular day.  My incentive for painting this was an untitled work that I had studied of Diebenkorn's,  "Woman Reading" that was strikingly the same setup.  I tried to incorporate some of his feel in this.
