I rescued a painting that I had given up on some time ago.  Feeling courageous, I grabbed the brushes, put down some juicy paint on these artichokes and brought them to life.  Interestingly, my friend Paula had artichokes at lunch today, and they did not look like these!

So, this was the last day of Bob Burridge's workshop at Bonita Springs Art Center.  It was intense, extremely informative, and fun.  I am excited to incorporate my new "looser" attitude (haha) into some paintings!

Worked on concepts and compositions.  Did an exercise to loosen up involving six sketches, each done in 2 minutes, depicting a random word.

This was the first day of Bob Burridge's Loosen Up workshop in Bonita Springs.  This seems to be the wonderful powerful push that I have needed for the past few months.
