Katie was our model again this week. She has amazing poses.

Well I’ve totally taken a non figurative attempt and inserted a figure and WHAT FUN I am having!  I have the Lee Krasner book that sweet Katie sent to me from the London exhibit right next to me easel open to a painting that is inspiring me and this is what is starting to come of it. Work to do but it is making me laugh every time I look at it, and that is nice. 

One of my favorite of the abstract figurative/expressive artists is DeKooning, who loses much of his figure work into delicious abstract oblivion. I'm struggling to know where to stop with this one but think I will keep more of the figure than he usually did. Looking looking.

I made a few adjustments and now I think it’s ready to sign. So much fun with this one.
